About us

 

The year was 1827. A group of dedicated, visionary people saw the need for a strong reformed and evangelical outreach in Creston, Ohio. That's when Creston Presbyterian Church was born.

 

Obviously, much has changed since then, but our rich history and our commitment to biblical preaching and God-centered worship have help us to shine the light of the gospel in our community for these past 192 years.

The church's membership has ebbed and flowed through the years. However, we have not lost our zeal to be a passionate, generous and courageous Great Commandment, Great Commission people.

 

It is our prayer and vision that God will use our location, our resources and our wonderful, loving congregation to provide a home for those seeking to make new friends, grow in grace, walk with Lord, , and serve Him.  

 

So, if you're looking for a spiritual home , we invite you to try out Creston Presbyterian. We are not yet where we want to be, but we are confident that God is going to accomplish great things in the months ahead as we pray, preach and reach out. What a joy it would be to have you join our happy band of believers.
